VILLAGES OF FAIRFIELD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

Established January 2008

Mission Statement

Villages of Fairfield’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by building a strong, safe neighborhood through community watch programs; partnering with the local designated schools in our community in order to lift them up and provide volunteer opportunities; beautify the neighborhood; inform residence regarding important community issues; bring all of our neighbors closer together; and promote a since of pride as a neighborhood.  We strive to involve all of our neighbors, homeowners and renters, old and young.  We strive to work side by side in this ethnically diverse neighborhood.

Achieved goals

In 2008 VFNA’s Neighborhood Watch Group was formed we have 6 participants that have completed the COP program.

After forming the Neighborhood Watch Group we had our inaugural “National Night Out” meeting in October 2008.

In 2009 we partnered with the Williams Elementary School on two occasions and have provided volunteers and vice versa as well as donated carnival games and prizes for the 2009 Spring carnival fund raiser.

In 2009 we applied for our first grant to enhance the neighborhood and bring a sense of pride, value and recognition to our neighborhood.

Since inception we have partnered with the two surrounding neighborhoods and formed strong allies in every phase of our neighborhood development.
